HISTORICAL BACKGROUND Dr. Atiman Memorial Council Designated Hospital is basically the property of Sumbawanga Catholic Diocese. It was built in 1991 and started functioning as a Health Centre and officially registered in 1997, with registration NO 154001 and in 14 March 2005 it was raised as hospital with registration NO 154205.The construction was made by Rev. Fr. Lukwille the white Father who was the parish priest of Christ the King parish.

OUT PATIENTS (OPD) SERVICES.
GENERAL CLINICS-Usually are working 24 Hours every day. Refferal and non refferal patients with different payment modals are attended.
IN PATIENTS (IPD) SERVICES.
our hospital provides inpatient services and our services are also the best. Our hospital has a total of 48 beds which are used to accommodate patients, In patients patients are about to reach 10 to 20 patients per day, per week it is about 150 patients.
EYE CLINIC SERVICES.
Dr. atiman memorial hospital, It provides medical and surgical Eye services also provides micropulse laser in treating glaucoma. We are previlaged to have guest who are skilled in Eye diseases from Germany twice a year also they impacted the stuff on acklight, and ebooks usage. This services benefited mostly low economic patients because of it's location in remote regionin Tanzania.
RADIOLOGY DIAGNOSTIC SERVICES.
This section provides radiology and imaging services to prescribed patients. The Section endeavors to guarantee availability of all radiological supplies and reagents so as radiological investigations are carried out as requested by clinicians. The section is served by highly qualified radiologists and radiographers and operates 24 hours a day. In our Hospital we are classfied into two services which are X-ray Machine service and Ultrasound machine service

All radiation services are provided here at Dr. Atiman Memorial Hospital, which is excellent due to our high-quality curricula for college education. we also have x-ray machines and ultrasound machine in general.
